Dear Industry Partners, Exhibitors and Supporters,
On behalf of the Local Organizing Committee, we cordially invite you to Lübeck, the Queen of the Hanseatic League, to attend the 19th European Meeting on Complement in Human Diseases (EMCHD2024) from September 2-6, 2024. This EMCHD meeting brings together over 400 key researchers in Complement to learn about new developments, present and discuss the latest results with colleagues and experts and to network. There are a range of sponsorship opportunities available
for organizations interested in meeting new customers and maintaining existing relationships.
The first day of the scientific program will comprise a Teaching Day designed to provide first insights into the composition and basic functions of the complement system to those new to the field. The Teaching Day will be paralleled by a Satellite Meeting, where experts from academia and industry will discuss different aspects of the anaphylatoxins C3a and C5a as mediators and regulators of complement-driven inflammation among others. The Satellite Meeting is in line with the core EMCHD 2024 program focusing on recent developments in the complement field to translate basic scientific advancements into novel therapeutic approaches to combat human diseases. The scientific program will be complemented by a social program aimed at giving you a taste of Lübeck, the Nordic beauty with impressive red brick historical monuments, alleys and courtyards in its Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Finally, we are delighted to invite you to a Hanseatic Gala Dinner in Travemünde, the famous seaside resort of Lübeck located at the Baltic Sea.
The successful implementation of the past events was only possible through your support and sponsorship. This year, we would again like to create an atmosphere in which, in addition to technically excellent presentations, the focus is on mutual personal exchange. We hope to welcome you at the 19th EMCHD in September 2024 at the premises of the University of Lübeck.
If you would like to discuss a bespoke package, please do get in touch.
We are very much looking forward to welcoming you to Lübeck in 2024.
