Conference Program

The first day of the scientific program will comprise a Teaching Day designed to provide first insights into the composition and basic functions of the complement system to those new to the field. The Teaching Day is paralleled by a Satellite Symposium, at which distinguished lecturers from industry, basic science as well as clinicians will discuss the role of C3, C5 and their cleavage products as targets in inflammatory diseases. The Satellite Symposium is in line with the core EMCHD 2024 program focusing on recent developments in the complement field to translate basic scientific advancements into novel therapeutic approaches to combat human diseases.
