Conference Registration
The EMCHD 2024 conference portal is open and conference registration is possible. Please do not hesitate to contact us by e-mail if you have any questions regarding registration or specific requirements.
Registration process
The first step is to set up a personal account in the EMCHD 2024 conference portal. You can then log in and complete the conference registration via the ticket store. During the registration process in the ticket store, you can enter the billing address required by your institution. Please find out which billing address you need before booking to avoid the effort of changing the address. Full payment of the registration fee must be made at the time of registration by credit card (Visa, MasterCard), Giropay or Sofort-Überweisung (SOFORT Bank Transfer).
Please note that a separate account is required for each participant, as the name badges and certificates are also managed via this account.
EMCHD 2024 will be held as in-person meeting.

Participants who have registered for the teaching day can select the preferred tutorials here. Please note that capacities are limited and bookings will be accepted in the order of tutorial registrations.
Participation fees
There is a fee for participation in the congress. The fees are to be paid in advance. Any bank charges will be borne by the party liable to pay.
Registration for Students
Reduced registration fees for students are only valid for students with a valid student ID. Please note: False student registrations do not allow for a cancellation and a complete refund, but will receive an invoice to cover the difference between the registration fees.
Registration for Authors
One registration is required for each accepted abstract. Each corresponding author or presenter needs to be registered to the conference latest on June 30, 2024.
Cancellation of conference participation
All cancellations and requests for refund must be made in writing via email to info@emchd2024.org and received on or prior to June 30, 2024. There will be a 100 € service charge for all refunds. Charges originating in the refund by bank transfer have to be paid by the payee.
In case of a cancellation after June 30, 2024 or a no-show, no refund will be made. False student registrations do not allow for a cancellation and a complete refund, but will receive an invoice to cover the difference between the registration fees.
You may appoint a replacement attendee at any time.
Program changes
The organizer reserves the right to change the program at short notice. For cancelled lectures or changes in the program no proportional refund of participation fees will be made.
Liability
The organizer is liable within the scope of due diligence according to the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Its liability - regardless of the legal grounds - is limited to cases of gross negligence and intentional misconduct. However, this does not affect the liability of the congress organizer and persons or organizations providing passenger transportation or other services. Verbal agreements are considered null and void if they are not confirmed in writing by the organizer.
Place of performance, place of jurisdiction
Place of performance is Lübeck, place of jurisdiction for all parties is Lübeck. The law of the Federal Republic of Germany shall apply.
